Red Hat
Red Hat’s legal department spearheaded a corporate citizenship program where they aimed to create a Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) report, an internal and external-facing document that highlights the organization’s philanthropic efforts. The report is then used to inspire current employees and attract new ones.
When I joined, there had only been one report, and engagement was low as there was no clear story to shape the report around.
Through countless interviews and hours of research, I found the common thread that connected all of the different social, environmental, and ethical angles, ultimately creating a piece that was so influential, I was brought on to do it again, highlighting another year of humanitarian achievements.
These reports are now used as marketing materials at college fairs with the goal of showing potential recruits the kind of culture that is fostered at Red Hat.
